Seattle and the Nutcracker

At the theatre- so maybe we're just not cultured people- but I think we could all go another 10 years before seeing the Nutcracker again. Bre knew more what was going on that us!

Italian restaurant in Seattle- it was really good.. and in the main atrium snow fell from the ceiling. Kids drank shirley temples for the first time.

I love Seattle- you would too!!

Thanksgiving Day!

My brother Jordan and Kaeley- it was funny she thought he was Josh and jumped up on him and was like "daddy" and hugged him then she realized it was Jordan

My cute grandparents

Josh prepping to be a daddy again

Aiden's daddy derrick
My brother Logan and his longtime girlfriend Blythe

My mom didn't like that they weren't pictures of them on the blog- so we made sure to take some

This is Aiden and this is my great grandma, his great great grandma- 93 years old.

The kids are excited to have a new brother or sister

We had to upgrade her regular glasses to JUMBO sized

Amber (my cousin) and her boyfriend

Notice the pinky in the air
The girls put on a tea party

Well I really miss Washington, everyone keeps asking when we're moving back, and we will move back. Josh wants to wait until the kids are in their teen years and more independent.... so 7 years sounds like a good number..

Well, tomorrow night we have tickets to the Pacific Northwest Ballet Nutcracker in Seattle. I'm excited!!

Turkey Day Fun

Eddie in Dallas calls his son in New York just before Thanksgiving and tells him, 'I am sorry to tell you but your mother and I are going to divorce. I just cannot take any more of her moaning. We can't stand the sight of each other any more.' I am telling first, Eddie, because you are the eldest, please tell your sister.
When Eddie calls his sister Julie, she says: 'No way are they getting divorced, I will go over and see them for Thanksgiving.'
Julie phones here parents and tells them both 'You must NOT get divorced. Promise you won't do anything until I get over there. I'm calling Eddie, and we'll both be there with you tomorrow. Until then, don't take any action, please listen to me', and hangs up.
The father puts down the phone and turns to his wife and says. 'Good news' he says, 'Eddie and Julie are coming for Thanksgiving and they are both paying their own way.'

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Veterans Day Tribute

When America had an urgent need,
These brave ones raised a hand;
No hesitation held them back;
They were proud to take a stand.
They left their friends and family;
They gave up normal life;
To serve their country and their God,
They plowed into the strife.
They fought for freedom and for peace
On strange and foreign shores;
Some lost new friends; some lost their lives
In long and brutal wars.

Other veterans answered a call
To support the ones who fought;
Their country had requirements for
The essential skills they brought.
We salute each and every one of them,
The noble and the brave,
The ones still with us here today,
And those who rest in a grave.
So here’s to our country’s heroes;
They’re a cut above the rest;
Let’s give the honor that is due
To our country’s very best.

House pictures

Well the house is coming along... we'll have been here 2 weeks on Thursday

\

We bought this bed back in May with that stimulus money from President Bush! The mattress is memory foam

Our TV and stand is too big for the designated wall space so Josh has to build something else to hold the tv so we can fit it in that hole... personally we'd love to just throw the tv off the roof.. it's a pain... soo heavy and bulky... takes 3 people just to move it..

Downstairs living room in the basement... it's pretty much the kids play room... we're putting all their toys down there and I want to get a trifold room divider to separate their playroom and the rest of the room

Thanks to money I receive for military disability we were able to buy a big TV and new couch.. the wall is the only place we had room for a TV
