So I found out today that I am being discharged. It's for medical reasons but they're not putting me up for a medical evaluation board instead I'm getting an honorable administrative discharge. I could be out as soon as 1 month, I'm very relieved but nervous at the same time because I have so many things to do. It hasn't even been a year since I moved here and now I have to reroute the bills/mail, separate the things I don't want packed, give notice to the landlord.. just a bunch of stuff, it's exhausting moving. Not to mention getting my resume squared away and finding a job, plus applying for all my veterans benefits. FINDING A NEW PLACE TO LIVE?? JOSH where are you??? I'm excited to go home though (my second home at least).

Disneyland was so cool!!!!
Here's Bre's post from Disneyland:
Disneyland was sooo cool. I had a blast, the rides were cool. My favorite rides were splash mountain, space mountain, Matterhorn bobsleds, and the teacups were cool. I met Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Snow white and sleeping beauty, and Minnie Mouse kissed my head, but we didn't get a picture of that. Here's some pictures with the characters:
The parade was really cool there was tons of characters. And what was cool was there were people swinging from the ropes like they were birds flying on the Lion King float. Peter Pan and tinker bell were also there. We got front row seats at the start of the parade. More pictures:
The ocean was really sandy and the waves were high. I fell down a couple of times because they were powerful. Dad told me when you make the ocean mad it can really kill you. I built a sand castle it took a while to build. The waves kept coming closer and closer and almost hit my sand castle.
California Adventures was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There was lots of cool rides. Like California Screamin, Flying over California, Grizzly Rapids, Tower of Terror. The grizzly rapids got me soaked for the rest of the day, my socks were wet till I got home. Tower of Terror was scary it brought you up really high and dropped you a couple of stories. I saw It's tough to be a bug show in 3D, it was really spooky because it had big robot bugs that popped out of the ceiling and the seats poked you and moved. It was fun. There was a play called Aladdin, the carpet flied over your head and there were big robot elephants that came out in the crowd. I saw lots of characters here too. I saw Sulley from Monsters Inc., The ants from Bugs life. Army guy from toy story and Handy Manny. There were 2 parades there that were awesome the ride out had bubbles that would pop out and all the floats sprayed you with water. The second parade was cool because it was dark and lit up the whole place. Here's pics of the parade:
Love you all I'm going to miss Arizona and California but I can't wait to see you Aunt Katey, Lexi and Ty!!! Cya soon

California Adventures
We had more than one adventure at this park, smaller than Disneyland but fun in different ways it was more oriented towards Disney movies, we also saw 3 different shows. One we saw was a 45 minute Aladdin Musical, it was put together really well, the magic carpet even flew around the theater. We got Kaeley to go on the California Screamin' which is the big roller coaster with 1 loop. It's a good thing she's tall for her age or she'd never have been able to get on most of the rides she's gone on. Anyway after the first drop she had tears coming down her eyes but when it was all over she screamed "that was fun but I don't wanna do it again!" We went on the new Toy Story Mania ride it was fun you wore 3D goggles and played a shooting game with the machines on the car (kinda hard to explain). Today we saw 2 parades the Pixar Parade and then when it was dark we saw the Electric Parade where every float and even the dancers were glowing with lights.
Kids passed out as soon as we got home.... Time for me to sign off too. This is for you Caleb
Handy Manny
I told you to take a right back there...

Surf and Swim
We took a break from all the excitement of Disneyland and went to Newport Beach today. The waves were so big and breaking right at the shore. We tried to make stepping stones of the kids hands in the sand but the cement never dried so our craft project didn't work out so well. We all got pretty burnt today, Bre and I (Lacey) are the worst by far, it hurts sooo bad. Josh went way out past the break of the waves but one wave sucked him under and he hit the bottom, scraped his knee and got drug close to the shore.
Bre didn't get a chance to write her blog today but she still plans on it. Keep an eye out for it! :))Bre looking adorable
Dallen running from the waves
She's a California girl already!
Our little beach bums- they love the ocean, this is only the second time they've been. First time was last summer up in Washington state (my parents home). And many more times to come... Check out the video of Kaeley running from the waves.

Year of a million dreams
Today we went to Disneyland, got there when it opened at 8, left at 8:30. I was surprised the kids lasted so long and they were so good, just so happy and full of life. Anyway we went on almost every ride we could, feels like we walked 4 miles. Dallen and Bre's favorite were Splash Mountain and Space Mountain, Kaeley loved the teacups. She also went on every ride with us and she wasn't scared of any of them :) We have been watching the fireworks every night from the pool, it's a great show, they have fireworks of happy faces and hearts. We got the kid's mickey mouse ear hats and they stitched their names on the back for them.
Bre wants to write a post tomorrow so I'll let her write more then, but for now here are some pictures. I have taken over 300 since yesterday (I get kinda camera happy). Tomorrow we head down towards Newport Beach for some swimming and surfing, haha. And Thursday we hit California Adventures.Mickey!!!
The girls wanted to see the princess so much and this "cast member" came up to us in the park and invited us to a special meet and greet with the princesses, she said she's only allowed to give 6 passes out a day so the girls got to sit and talk with them. Bell kept hugging and kissing Kaeley on the forehead, Kaeley was a little weirded out but I told her to feel special and privileged.
Kids new ears
Quack quack
Now this is a great story... Minnie tried to hug Dallen first and he ran away so she tried kissing him and he ran away again, finally Josh grabbed Dallen and Minnie got to kiss Dallen on the head... lol I'll have to post that picture sometime. Kaeley and Bre got a hug as well and they didn't try and run away.
Oh no, watch out Bre the rock is going to roll you over.
Kids thought they were aliens!
Happiest place on earth. It was so fun seeing the kids smile and just be sooo excited!!
Aw, there's his real smile we've been searching for. This is on Tarzan's tree house.
Kaeley with her Minnie Mouse hat
Haha, this was at the end of the teacups, Bre was so dizzy she looks sick!
