7 months

Royce is 7 months old today!




So we found a Realtor and a mortgage broker, we're starting the process of buying a house. This will be exciting.

This is what happens to babies who's poops gets all over their clothes!


Craft project for the kids! They made their own special boxes to keep sentimental things in. We had bought 4 becuase Breanna had Candy spend the night last night but the girls ended up staying up til 5am! Candy woke up at 9am but her mom showed up at 10 (earlier than we thought- but I forgot to check my phone or I would have known) They enjoyed the craft.


I went shopping for Royce this weekend, she is growing so fast. She is wearing size 12 pants and I'm buying size 18 shirts so she doesn't grow out of them too quick.

Today I took Dallen shopping with me and bought him a nice pair of Etnies and a etnies T-shirt and DC hoodie, he was walking on cloud 9. The shoes from his mom's was falling apart and he said they got his feet wet when he walked through the snow... how do you ignore that. He didn't even ask for new shoes I just knew that I couldn't let that happen.

For dinner we took the kids to Texas Roadhouse, I remember it being a lot better last time... needless to say I don't think we will be going back anytime soon...

Josh has an echo-cardiogram tomorrow. There is a heart defect that runs in his family and he needs to get tested, it could be the reason he has his migraines and other ailments. He also is going back to his knee surgeon, his knee is hurting him so much. It's been over 2 years since his last surgery where they just went in an cleaned out some of the hardware, because of his age they won't give him a full knee replacement... but they will need to do something for him.

Ewwww this disgusting! Ha, we switched to bananas after we were unsuccessful. She is quite expressive though!

Christmas Take 2

Our week here has been outstanding. Josh and I have had the joy of sleeping in without getting up with Royce. My mom took over that duty and actually really enjoyed it. Christmas was fun, my youngest brother Jordan, and also the newest coast guard recruit visited for a few days; meeting Royce for the first time. We were able to see nearly all the extended family. Josh went with my dad, brother and uncle to a shooting range and played around with some cool guns.

We went to the ocean, puget sound really, we took pictures but our card camera decided to fail us and we lost all the pictures. We went to see Avatar in 3D; it had the most beautiful colors and scenery. The Obama Family even went and saw the movie, I think it's funny what makes national top breaking news these days. Our family friends threw a big party, like usual, for New Year's Eve. Unfortunately we went home early sick and rang in the new year asleep. The best part was relaxing and showing off Royce. Many people said her pictures don't even do her justice on how cute she is in person.

Also rule of thumb- I'm buying my bottles of alcohol at home from now on. Our night out at Applebee's was expensive. The tab ran up quick and just 2 shots of Chivas was $17... we could have bought a bottle with one more drink at that price. Even so we were with friends and that was the best part. We will miss our Washington family once again as we make our way back home to Utah. Our return will be to celebrate Royce's first birthday and take a mini vacation- just Josh and I.
