Josh Watkins Day Off

New Place

We move in Thursday... Josh is taking the day off for the movers since I start my new job this week and won't be able to take any time. Anyway, the new home is right by Greg and Lisa's... less than 3 blocks. Features 3 bedrooms/ 2.5 baths. 1965 sq. ft... 2 floors and a basement. Here are some pictures. I already find the place to be so cozy... we have to paint the kid's bedrooms this Wednesday before we move in.

Kaeley looking so grown up, hard to imagine she's only barely 6- she bought a jewelry box she can paint with her money (from Katey) and gift card (from Nancy), thanks all of you guys! Breanna got a messenger bag she can decorate (we have yet to decorate but by the end of this weekend)

Dallen got this throwing Chinese star from his dad during his trip to D.C., he's had a blast throwing it. This boy loves knives like mad! I'm telling you.. never ask again for birthday idea... get this boy a knife.. gun or something sharp he'll be crazy for it. Don't worry though, this boy is very careful and cautious he knows how to handle weapons, we grind in safety. Plus it also helps that his entire dad's side of the family loves guns and such!

Aviator

Josh and I went out last night and bought a great new vehicle, quite spur of the moment! I've been bugging Josh lately because we need something bigger and the Jeep was just not cutting it anymore. The kids are getting bigger, and we're trying to have more kids. We missed the old Navi so much we got an Aviator and the best part is it seats 7! Bad part is the gas mileage, but we scored a great deal on this vehicle. It's complete with navigation, DVD player and all those great features of a Navigator but a smaller size! Now let's just get the baby to make it complete for a family of 6 :)

Ambush goodbye

So let's see, my last day of work which was about 2 weeks ago. I was ambushed by my flight and students, saran wrapped to a dolley then taken outside sprayed with whipped cream and then cleaned off with an entire bucket of water. I just got the pictures from my friend, I wish she would have taken more.

My excitement

So I just had to share my excitement. Before I separated the military I applied for a job at the Veteran's Affairs office in SLC. This past Monday, I dressed up all professional (no more monkey suit for me) and I interviewed.. and what can I say, I'm just that good, because I got the job. It's a GS-06 position, starts at 33,200 a year $16/hour, plus benefits... not bad for only being 22. And I know everyone is depressed about the economy... but there are still jobs out there and opportunities. So this is my excitement for the day... now it's off to find a house.. no more living with the 'rentals.. haha

And Josh is also coming back early tomorrow from D.C. he wasn't supposed to arrive til later but now I get to see him sooner... we have alot of dates to catch up on.

Girls Bday Party

Josh was awesome doing most of the baking this year- sadly though, the cakes turned out alot better last year when we had more time and my mom's help!
