Kicking and Squirming

So I'm a week into the third trimester and my last lap of this pregnancy. I was asked at my baby shower if pregnancy is what I expected... and it actually hasn't been. I figured for sure I would blow up like a cow and gain 25 pounds the first few months, my hands and feet would swell to massive porportions and my body would become terribly foreign looking with stretch marks all over it... and none of that's happen. The worst of this pregancy has been the nausea. The doctor only starting becoming concerned at our last appointment when she noticed my weight was still 7 pounds below my starting weight at my first appointment. So she prescribed different nausea pills, these ones dissolve under the tongue. They're hit or miss... but our little girl is growing and she's right on target each appointment.

Josh has been wonderful this entire pregnancy, he's so excited for a little girl because he says little girls love daddys attention. He comes to every appointment and massages me every night. And at night when we're laying in bed together Royce will stick her feet out and push out on my stomach, it's different than kicking she's more like poking and he can feel it really well. Then he'll read her a story and kiss my belly.

Today we start the loan paperwork for buying a home... we're still in the initial phases but we're going to use my VA home loan and get into a house maybe before the baby comes (hectic) or by the fall. We need the extra space. Our place now is plenty of square feet (2,000 sq. ft.) but the layout makes it unusable because we never go down into the basement. We also need the extra bedrooms for our tribe of children :)

Headlights

I was supposed to work this weekend, but I ended up sitting at home instead. Since I had some time to waste I decided to try to get the oxidation of the headlights of our cars. Lacey's little corolla needed a bit of help. The headlamps were almost yellow when it was sitting in the sun. I had seen signs around town and even Walmart saying they would fix this for about 20 dollars a car. I hate paying someone else to work on my cars so I found a Meguires kit for buffing out head and tail lights. Here are the results....

Before..
After..So now the headlamps look almost new and the taillamps are nice and shiney. I had better get to work on my homework..

Fishing and a Baby

My dad, brother and Josh all went fishing for the day out in the pacific ocean. They caught ling cod and sea bass ... and plenty of it! We're still in the process of giving some away because we can't possibly eat everything we brought home. Fortunately Tressa is an avid fish lover and welcomed fresh fish!

All of my comments are in this color... -Josh

Meet the "Hula Girl", the best damn fishing boat in West Port, WA!! The captain was a really nice guy and his son was our deck hand. His boy can fillet a fish faster than anyone I have ever watched..
Here is a picture from Robert's phone.. Those are averaged sized lings for our day out at sea..
Robert brought in this big one. The ling cods were ugly as sin, but everyone says they taste awesome. He also pulled up 2 sea bass on the same line multiple times.
Jordan, Lace's brother got a bit sea sick...
The captain was stoked about my first ling cod, but it was the smaller of my cods..
This was my third ling cod that we kept and was my biggest one.. I was beat by another guy's 18 lbs 13 oz ling caught towards the end of the day. We also pulled in most of our limit on sea bass.

These next pictures are from my wonderful baby shower that my mom had for us!! I got sooo many clothes, alot of 0-3 months... I'm gonna have to change her like 3 times a day just to make sure she wears at least everything once.

Alot of family and friends came. Josh's mom and grandma flew up and my friend Nicole flew in from Florida!

My cousin's son... so I guess that makes him my cousin as well..?

Both my aunts and cousin

It was fun opening everything! I'm very thankful for everyone's generosity

Thank you mom for everything!!! We'll see you in August!! And Janine, thanks for taking all these pictures... I'll see you in July.
