Pineview Lake

Yesterday Josh took a half day off work and we headed up Ogden canyon to Pineview Reservoir. We went to our favorite spot and spent the day swimming, canoing and just having a blast! We've had a great time with the kids this past week. On Monday I took them to the treehouse museum, which is a museum based around books and it has a lot of exhibits that are themed around reading. And than later than night we went to family bowling night on base. Today and tomorrow they are hanging with their aunt Katey and cousins... and from what I've heard she's taking them to a water park, movie, water fountains.. she always has the best stuff planned. On Friday we take them back home. This past week with them has been the best. They have spent a lot of time with Royce. They just LOVE her... I'm not even exaggerating that. Every morning Kaeley comes knocking on my bedroom door just to come in and see the baby. They are always asking to hold her, feed her, help dress her. They are a HUGE help to me. It sucks they live so far away, but we always make the most of our time when they are with us.

We went with Josh's best friend and his family. In this picture are our kids and then his wife Jamie in the middle, two little girls and her stepson.

We borrowed a canoe and took it up to the lake- Bre and I tipped ours and had to pull it back to shore. We were laughing the entire way back, we didn't care we thought it was funny.

Royce did awesome at the lake. She is such a good baby! She just chilled in her car seat while we played
Took this picture when we first got to the lake

My cute little Diva
There is a pig in the sand. We found these- whoever made these did a good job.

Do you see the lizard in the sand?

Laying on Daddy- every day Josh comes home from work the first thing he does is pick up Royce lays on the couch and relaxes with her on his chest... and she just falls asleep :)

Summer Fun

So we have the kids for a week... we originally were going to have them spend a lot more time with their aunts and uncles but after seeing the kids interact with their new sister and plus we haven't seen them in over a month we decided it's important for them to spend more time at our house with Josh and I and getting to know Royce.

Beautiful Breanna
Look at those chubby cheeks

Here are all the girls- Jareds girls are 6 and 4 he also has a 14 year old son.

Yesterday we went to Josh's best friends house and played in the water with his kids. I've been getting to know his wife better too and we have a lot in common... so I'm looking forward to hanging out with her more in the future.

The little princess

This may sound kinda weird but Dallen has the same mannerisms and kindness when it comes to babies and kids as Josh does. I think Dallen will be a similar type father like Josh, which is awesome!
Josh decked Dallen out in all his gear this morning and sent him off to shoot bunnies with Caleb. Dallen also took my ABU top (military uniform) which says "Watkins" on it... it fits him pretty well.

Siblings united

The kiddos finally met their sister for the first time! Nearly a month after she was born. They would have met her earlier but they got really sick and weren't able to come around for a while. Anyway the kids are all competing for who gets to feed the baby, burp her, dress her, put her to bed! It's so cute but they all want their turn so I have to assign different times for them each to do it. They are so crazy about her though- they think she is just the cutest.

Kaeley wanted Josh to read a story to Royce. Haha, Kaeley's lips are blue from this crazy candy we got them.

Dallen is so sweet with her. I am really surprised how gentle he is with her and giving her hugs and kisses and tucking her into bed. Makes my heart happy.

"Dad you're squishing me!"

"Where's my bottle?!"

Beautiful Roycey

Sorry no time to write any notes I have to get the dog to the groomers!!

For our fan club!

Just thought i would post some pictures I took today while we were home hanging out!! She is over 3 weeks old now (barely- by 1 day) but she is finally starting to fit into her 0-3 month clothing so I know she is growing. Plus people have mentioned she looks bigger... I guess that's what happens when you start growing.

haha .... this was just too funny

My martian child!

So I was looking back through all the photos of Royce... and remember when I said she had jaundice... well I didn't realize how YELLOW she actually was. Poor thing... but now she gets compliments on what wonderful skin tone she has... fortunately she didn't have jaundice very long!

Well hello there world!

Thanks again Stacey!

Her mobile :) She's getting used to it... I was rocking her in her rocking chair and the mobile was going and it was putting me to sleep!

Yesterday we bought Royce her first pair of shoes- we decided on these shoes before we even got pregnant. Josh and I love converse so it's only natural we'd get her a first pair. But I love shoes and I've been finding that little people shoes are cheap so she's going to have a lot of shoes for different outfits.

So yesterday I received a wonderful box with two outfit for Royce, sent only by .. your's truely Stacey Anders. I was so surprised and excited! Thank you again- today I dressed Royce in the yellow dress. It's so cute- I don't really have anything yellow for her, and I think it's a great color. I'm going to have to buy more yellow clothes.

My brother Jordan

Jordan with my parents. I asked my mom to send me these pictures. Jordan left July 5th for coast guard boot camp in Cape May, NJ. My other brother, Logan went through coast guard boot camp a few years ago and now is a reservist out of Westport, WA (ocean town). We're just a military family! (For those that don't want to consider the coast guard part of the military- oh well) They protect America just the same.

Jordan was adament about only joining the coast guard. He wasn't interested in any other branch. He was determined to get in in... the coast guard was only accepting 3,000 active duty people this year and the ASVAB score cut off was higher than usual for most branches. Anyway he got in, and got the job he wanted which is an electrician. Here Jordan is with my grandparents (on my moms side). Miss them but they are coming for Labor day to see me and the family!

My parents took him out to claim jumper! Not sure if you've ever been there but the portions are HUGE, just look at this sandwich he ordered!

Best of luck Jordan!

The most important people in my life

Here I am with the two most important people in my life. Royce and Josh- I love them sooo much, but of course everyone already knows that. I'm so thankful Josh gave me this beautiful daughter.
Mwah
This picture is supposed to be symbolic with all our hands and our wedding rings. It's a photo of our commitment to Royce and each other, our marriage and family.

I got this romper at children's place, it's so adorable. She's starting to fit into her clothes a little better now. Which mean she's probably near 8 pounds..

I see you
