The F Word

Family, silly.... but at least I got your attention.

I was thinking alot about family today. Josh sent me some pictures today at work of Oliver eating ice cream and wearing his new straw hat, it made me happy. I was thinking about how great it is to be part of such a huge family. I married into a family of 5 sister-in-laws, 4 brother-in-laws, 3 great children, two great parent-in-laws and 12 nieces and nephews (Hunter will always be part of the 12), and it's just awesome! It's alot to keep up with for birthdays and anniversaries; and holidays are always hectic but they wouldn't mean as much without the craziness. Greg and Lisa you have just been amazing with all your support and generosity, you are some of the most selfless people I have ever met. And as few times as we've been able to visit Vernal I love seeing Josh's aunts, uncles and grandparents (cousins too), they're so welcoming and generous.












My brothers are younger and haven't married yet and no kids... I love my parents and brothers so much and I look forward to having larger family get-togethers are my parents house. Going home to Washington is always a calming comfort factor and I have noticed the same feelings of peace in Josh and the kids when they visit. The first time Josh went home with me he told me he wanted to live there. It's something about Washington that you need to experience on your own. Breanna told me she was jealous that I got to grow up in Washington and she wanted to live there. Maybe it's the salt water in the air. It's quite an amazing place and the longer I stay in Arizona the more I miss the rain and the green.





Anyway as I babble on the more I realize how much I miss Washington, but between Washington and Utah they are home. And thank you to all our family for doing what you do. Especially for the kids, it means more to them that you know. I uploaded a lot of family pictures, I hope they bring back as good of memories for you as they do for me.
