Well the pregnancy is going really well and even these last few weeks haven’t been too bad. I have experienced some Braxton Hicks contractions but there is no indication of early labor. Josh and I both have an intuition she will come earlier than her due date. Josh is guessing around the 4th of July and he thinks I’ll have to have a C section. I think she will come like a week early but natural delivery- so we’ll see. Watch she’s like 2 weeks post term… my next doctor appointment we get our last ultrasound- I'm so excited to see her again!!
My poetry teacher for this semester seemed really concerned about me taking a class so close to my due date. She was almost suggesting that I drop the class- no way! She thought I wouldn’t be back after the baby and I would miss a ton of school. I plan on coming back to class to finish out the semester. If the baby comes right on her due date I would only have 2 class sessions left for the semester. Granted I might miss 1-2 classes (depending on when I go into labor and what day of the week it is). A bonus is that my teacher is allowing us to turn in all our assignments early. So I’ve been working on getting those knocked out. The other class Josh and I are taking is Natural Disasters- yeah it’s like a cop out elective class but I needed something that was simple and not too much work. Plus my teacher is funny- when I told him I was pregnant and my due date he replied with, “Babies are important!” So as long as I keep him up to date with what’s going on if I miss class time or assignments he seems like he’ll be really flexible.
I received a bunch of hangers at my last baby shower so I started hanging Royce’s dresses in the closet yesterday. She has some really cute dresses- I’m so excited to dress her actually, lol. I have found her some of the cutest clothes. I’m all about the dresses and skirts for her.
I plan on working up until I give labor and after that I will take 8 weeks off… we still haven’t secured daycare for her once I go back to work- how stressful. Tress said her sister, Anna, loves babies and would love to watch her. It might not be a bad idea short term but long term we’d like to have her at the CDC on base.
Well I’m getting anxious and nervous for Royce to make her appearance… I wonder if I’d feel less anxious if this wasn’t my first kid. At least I have Josh, he’s all sorts of excited to have a little me… normally girls look like their moms… I wonder how much Royce will look and act like me. Josh jokes that it’d be great if Royce looked like me but had his temperament (because he’s so much more relaxed than me). It’s cute watching Josh talk to Royce and the things he says to her in my belly. She's going to absolutely love her daddy :) Anyway I’ll post pictures as I take them and stories as they happen.

Grandpa and Grandma B are anxiously awaiting Royce's arrival. I'm predicting she'll be a few days early and arrive on your Brothers birthday. Let's all pray she'll have Josh's
tempermant or you will be one busy Mom.LOL. We love you all.
Mom
Tell Josh he has to do an immediate posting of baby pictures, well, within reason. I love this, like I have a vested interest Royce: I feel like I already know her cause I've seen all the tummy pictures!
